Lord's Prayer Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. Expanded Version Father, you created the heavens and the earth by your power and you live and rule in the heaven you created. I hallow your name. I lift up your name. I honor your name. I exalt your name. I praise your name for you are worthy to be praised. Come kingdom, come! Father, drive out Satan and his demons and set up your kingdom on this earth. Deliver me and my loved ones from the power and the lies of this enemy. Let your will be done on earth in the same way as it is in your heavenly kingdom. Give me and my loved ones adequate food, clothing, shelter and transportation today. Provide for all our material needs according to your riches in Christ Jesus. Father, have mercy on me and forgive me for all my sins. And give me the grace to forgive the people who have hurt me. Heal me and my loved ones from the wounds that I have caused. And also heal us from the wounds that other people have caused. Cancel my debts and trespasses in the same way that I am willing to release others who have harmed or offended me. Father, guide me into your will for my life. But do not lead me into situations where I could be tempted to sin. Warn me of impending dangers and lead me away from those situations where Satan has set up a trap to catch me. Lead me into that place of peace and rest that you have promised to your people. I acknowledge, Heavenly Father, that the kingdom is rightfully yours. Your power created and sustains the heavens and the earth and it’s your glory that fills it all. It all belongs to you. It always has and it always will. Amen Back |
